Servings: 1-2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fresh berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries)

  • 1-2 tablespoons of chocolate chips (Enjoy Life or Lily's brand)

  • Sea salt

    Equipment:

  • Microwave-safe bowl

  • Toothpicks

  • Parchment paper

  • Plate or container for chilling

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry your berries thoroughly. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping them in the chocolate.

  2. Line a plate or container with parchment paper to prevent the chocolate from sticking.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for one minute, stirring every 15 seconds to prevent burning.

  4. Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, add a few cranks of sea salt and stir.

  5. Take a berry of your choice and insert a toothpick into the top of it.

  6. Dip the berry into the melted chocolate, making sure it's coated all over.

  7. Place the chocolate-covered berry onto the parchment paper-lined plate or container.

  8. Repeat with the remaining berries, making sure to leave enough space between them on the plate so they don't stick together.

  9. Chill the plate or container in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
