Maple Turkey Sausage

This turkey sausage patty recipe is a delicious and healthy breakfast option that is perfect for meal prep! With the addition of flavorful seasonings and a touch of maple syrup, these patties are sure to become a breakfast staple.

Serves: 4-5

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey

  • 1 tsp ground sage

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Olive or avocado oil spray

  • 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup, optional

Instructions:

  1. Heat a skillet to medium heat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the seasonings. Add in the ground turkey and maple syrup and mix until fully combined.

  3. Spray olive or avocado oil onto skillet.

  4. Use about 1/4 cup of ground turkey mixture to form into sausage patty’s. Grill until brown on both sides, 2-3 minutes each side.

  5. Store in fridge for 4 days, or freeze some of the batch for a longer food life. This is a great meal prep recipe for breakfast!
